Chairs (an AV poem) / London, UK / Jan 2010
Installation by Tomas Vaclavek / May 2009

Performance, digital video.

Chairs (an AV poem) is a small video editing experiment which proposes a new perspective on audio-video channels. By splitting the footage into two parts, each with it's own rhythm, and then making the visual in the
first part "rhyme" with the audio in the
second part and vice-versa, the short film aims to give out a "poetry-signal": these 4 tracks of audio and video are verses.

Once the signal is perceived, the content of the poem is to be interpreted by each viewer.
